Everyone who works or volunteers at Lyde Green Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children by

- Fulfilling our statutory (legal) responsibilities to identify children who may be in need of extra help or who are suffering, or are likely to suffer, significant harm
- Support children’s development in ways which will foster a sense of self-esteem and independence
We always encourage open and honest discussions with both families and children in a safe, confidential and nurturing environment as our main priority is our children's welfare.
